Professional coaching brings many wonderful benefits: a fresh perspective on personal or school-related challenges you may be facing, enhanced decision-making skills, greater interpersonal effectiveness, and increased confidence.
After coaching you can also expect to have taken steps towards your goals, have appreciable improvement in your productivity, and more satisfaction with your life and your teaching career.
I coach using the phone or Skype, so it does not matter where you are, we can still work together to create your best life.
I can help you to...
... and so much more. You bring whatever you need to each session and I partner with you to give you greater clarity and plan your next steps.
For you to get the most benefit out of the coaching relationship I suggest 4 to 6 sessions. You can choose whether your sessions are weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
Each session lasts approximately 45 mins to an hour.
The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential, which is particularly important in today’s uncertain and complex environment.
As your coach, I honour you as the expert in your life and work and I believe you are creative, resourceful and whole. Standing on this foundation, it is my responsibility to:
This process helps you dramatically improve your outlook on work and life, while improving your leadership skills and unlocking your potential.

To determine whether you could benefit from coaching, start by thinking about what you would expect to accomplish during the coaching sessions. When you are clear on the outcomes you would like to achieve, a coaching partnership can be a useful tool to help you reach those outcomes.
However, if you do not exactly know what it is you would like to achieve then the first coaching session would help you get clarity on this.
Also, ask yourself whether you are ready to devote the time and the energy to making real changes. If the answer is yes, then coaching may be a beneficial way to grow and develop.
Professional coaching focuses on setting goals, creating outcomes and managing personal change. Sometimes it’s helpful to understand coaching by distinguishing it from other personal or organisational support professions. Coaching is not therapy or counselling, and it is different to training or mentoring.
I coach over the phone or with Skype, so no travelling time involved. Our first session will begin with a chat to assess your current opportunities and challenges, identify priorities for action and establish what you would like your outcomes to be.
Between scheduled coaching sessions, you may set yourself specific actions that support the achievement of your goals. I can also provide additional resources in the form of relevant articles, checklists, assessments or models to support your thinking and actions if you wish.
